Yara Sofia Fernandes Dias has experience doing public speaking and communicating cross-culturally including with worldwide philanthropy projects in which she promotes peace with the Prince in Malaysia. She was awarded Top 50 Global Game Changer, as featured in the book, “Global Game Changers: 50 Stories of Impact and Innovation” by Yana Bijoor.
She was awarded a scholarship to John Hopkins University based on an essay where she discussed her ambitions of promoting peace and preventing war. She graduated with honors and made a diplomacy curriculum during her time at John Hopkins. Yara Sofia Fernandes Dias is also the Founder & CEO of Haus of Dias™ 迪亚斯之家 بيت دياس.
Haus of Dias™ 迪亚斯之家 بيت دياس is a business focused on promoting world peace an global collaboration. Through her business, she promotes peace and global collaboration through the Arts, Fashion, Books, Public Speaking, and more.
In philanthropy, she is part of the Mission ShakthiSAT and Space Kidz India team, which promotes world peace with the Prince in Malaysia. She is also a Global Ambassador of the Africa Quantum Consortium, a pan-African initiative. Together, they have done public speaking engagements about world peace and diplomacy.
With both of her philanthropy projects with Mission ShakthiSAT and the Africa Quantum Consortium, she initiated to include friends from Burkina Faso in these historical initiatives. Her interview with Kwamara Thompson on the TV show, “Women Invest in Women” talks about this further, including how she made friends from Burkina Faso.
Yara was mentored by the former U.S. Diplomat Harry Lepinske in her youth. Harry was a child during the Great Depression, lived through World War II and the Space Race. He trained U.S. Foreign Service Officers and U.S. military. Harry taught Yara the importance of understanding different cultures and religions in some forms of conflict resolution.
She has consistently exposed herself to a variety of cultures for many years, helping her to develop cross-cultural communication skills and understand different perspectives that come from being exposed to different cultures from around the world. In 2020, Yara was hired to Egypt due to her cultural competence.
Tsinghua University is a top university in China. A Ph.D from Tsinghua University who knows about the great efforts Yara has made to promote world peace, tutors Yara for free in Mandarin Chinese. He has helped her expand her network in Shenzhen, China.
Through Haus of Dias™ 迪亚斯之家 بيت دياس, Yara continues to promote world peace from Shenzhen, Cairo, Miami, and beyond through her business.
She lives the dream of world peace in her personal life, as she raises her two sons to have empathy for others regardless of their nationality, religion, or culture. She also immerses them and herself in different cultural experiences consistently.
